Fee Schedule and Client Expenses

Sierra Environmental operates on retainer via proposals and consulting agreements for most projects pertaining directly to engineering. Expert witness testimony and land acquisition consulting and management are negotiated differently. See below.

SE works both independently and with teams of other professional engineers per SE's discretion, depending upon the scope of the project.

Professional Engineer rates can range from 100-200 dollars per hour, or are set according to a percentage of total profit, depending upon the project. (90-dollar per hour fees are given in special cases.)

Retainer fees are 50-100% of estimated proposal cost, payable upon signing of contract.

All fees are due within 30 days of invoice date.

Auto mileage is the standard 30 cents per mile.

All photocopies and facsimiles are 15 cents per page.

Client pays per diem on site visits.

Expert Witness & Land Acquisition Consulting Fee Schedule

Due to the unique nature of expert witness testimonial work, fees are currently set at the highest hourly rate. Client pays all travel, room and board expenses. Please direct inquiries to Dan Simon.

Land Acquisition Consulting and Management fees are at the consultant's discretion. Fees can be negotiated according to contract retainer, or as a percentage of a project's overall profits, depending upon the project.
